Baldwinsville Volunteers were dispatched to Cross Lake Marina in Cayuga County Saturday evening for a possible drowning at the request of Jordan Fire Chief Milton who was first to arrive of a reported drowning at the Marina. Baldwinsville immediately responded with Squad 1 towing the dive equipment trailer and 2 divers and line tenders, Squad 4 towing Water Rescue 1 and 2 with 3 personnel for boat operations.Car 3 (McIntyre) was the 2nd chief onscene and assigned to the divemaster position while obtaining information about the victims possible location. After approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes of searching, the divers were able to locate the victim and was then brought into shore on Water Rescue 1. Cooperative efforts by Jordan, Baldwinsville and Auburn divers made the operation run smoothly.
