The Baldwinsville Fire Company was dispatched as the R.I.T. to the Liverpool Fire Department on a reported structure fire. First arriving units called a signal 99 (Working Fire) with heavy fire venting from a second story window of a private residence. Rescue Company # 6 led by Lt. Paul arrived within minutes of the initial dispatch and set up on the A Side of the structure. Ladders were thrown and walk arounds were made to assure that areas of egress were free from obstructions on the outside and to familiarize the crew with the layout of the structure. The crew stood by for approximately 3 hours before being released.
